Take control of where you'll end up after deleting or moving a message in AOL Mail. Choose to go back to the original folder, the next message, or the previous message after moving the email. 1. Delete a single email. Click on the conversation where the email is located. Click the More Icon | click Delete Message. Delete a full conversation. Locate the thread you want to delete. Click in the box to the left of the message. Click Delete at the top of your Inbox.
