The USF College of Nursing was founded in 1973, [2] enrolling its charter class into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. The college added a Master of Science in Nursing program in 1980, a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in 1997, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in 2005. [2]
It is also one of the country's highest research-funded schools, ranking in the top 20 among nursing schools in grant funding from the National Institute of Health. The UCLA School Nursing is located in the Factor Building at 700 Tiverton Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90005, on campus near the hospital and school of medicine.
The UF College of Nursing is Florida's Flagship nursing program. Established in 1956, the College of Nursing is located on the university's Gainesville, Florida main campus. The college is fully accredited, and is one of six academic colleges and schools that constitute the J. Hillis Miller Health Science Center. [1]
Earlier this year, Triumph Gulf Coast awarded the nursing program a $21 million grant to help fund the expansion project. Approximately $9 million of that is going toward upgrades to the building.
