The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka, is an autonomous organization and responsible for holding public examinations ( JSC, SSC and HSC) in Dhaka Division and for providing recognition to the newly established non-government educational institutions and also for the supervision, control and developments of those institutions. [1]
Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Matriculation examination, is a public examination in Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Maldives conducted by educational boards for the successful completion of the secondary education exam in these countries. Students of 10th grade/class ten can appear in these.
Result. In 2007, 2008, and 2009, the school secured 3rd position in the Secondary School Certificate Examination held under the Dhaka Board of Education. Achieving A + (GPA 5) of 652 and 558 students in this examination in 2008 and 2009 respectively naturally ranks the school among the best 3rd schools in Bangladesh in terms of GPA 5.
As of September 2019, tertiary education in Bangladesh takes place at 44 government, 101 private and 3 international universities. Students can choose to further their studies in chartered accountancy, engineering, technology, agriculture and medicine at a variety of universities and colleges.
In 2008, the government of Bangladesh declared it as the provider of Higher Secondary Education. Classes of college are held from 8 am to 2 pm in a six-story building. In 2007, Viqarunnisa Noon School and College was one of three top colleges under the Dhaka Education Board. In April 2008, a forum for guardians of students at the school was created. There is no intense competition in the admission process. Students are selected to study at this school by lottery. Usually students are admitted in classes 1,6 and 9.
