Template:Free. Template. : Free. The templates in this series are designed to be used in a table to make a cell with text in that cell, with an appropriately colored background. They are commonly used in comparison tables. Most of these templates should not be used simply to produce a background color, use them according to their meaning.
A web style sheet is a form of separation of content and presentation for web design in which the markup (i.e., HTML or XHTML) of a webpage contains the page's semantic content and structure, but does not define its visual layout (style). Instead, the style is defined in an external style sheet file using a style sheet language such as CSS or XSLT.
This template determines the pair of colors with the larger contrast ratio: color1/color2 or color1/color3. This is useful for selecting a foreground/background color pair. For accessibility, WCAG 2.0 AA guidelines require a contrast ratio of 3 or larger for large text, and 4.5 or larger for normal sized text.
