West Hall is a building on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.It was designed by noted American architect Wyatt C. Hedrick. Originally designated “Men’s Dormitory #1”, the building was subsequently renamed West Hall after James Marion West Sr., a Texas businessman and philanthropist who was a member of the university's board.
The Museum of Texas Tech University was established as the West Texas Museum in 1929. It was created by the Plains Museum Society. Original plans called for a three-story building to be constructed. In the summer of 1935, 67 Texas counties agreed to pool their Texas Centennial money for a regional museum and for 35 historical markers.
Since 2013, the university offers six-year Bachelor of Engineering and Bachelor of Arch. The students who qualify the entry requirement can apply to Technological University (Thanlyin) from any region of Myanmar. In 2019, more than 1000 final year students will graduate and Technological University (Thanlyin) will accept 450 new intake.
