30th. 28th. The Kolkata International Film Festival ( KIFF) is an annual film festival held in Kolkata, India. Founded in 1995, it is the third oldest international film festival in India. [1] The festival is organized by the West Bengal Film Centre under the West Bengal Government. In 2019, it was held from 8 November to 15 November.

The 29th Kolkata International Film Festival began on 5 December 2023 at Netaji Indoor Stadium, in Kolkata, India. A 1963 romantic comedy Bengali film Deya Neya by Sunil Bannerjee opened the festival, which screened 219 films from 39 countries.
