Students at Glendale undergo a typical Ontario high school curriculum and are offered courses in departments including business, technology (wood shop, automotive and computer science), arts (music, drama and dance), math, science (physics, chemistry and biology) and languages (French), English, history, physical education, and geography.
Saunders Secondary School is the largest high school in the Thames Valley District School Board with close to 2000 students and 120 teachers. As of 2008, Saunders is also the site of new credit summer school for the TVDSB.

In the 2009–2010 school year, Medway High School's chess team became the first to win all five local tournaments held in Thames Valley District School Board. In the nearly 20-year history of these tournaments, this feat has never before been accomplished. The same chess team was the first to win every game played (20-0-0) in a single tournament.
