Les Engagés (French pronunciation: [lez‿ɑ̃ɡaʒe]; lit. ' The Committed Ones ', LE) is a centrist French-speaking political party in Belgium. The party originated in the split in 1972 of the unitary Christian Social Party (PSC-CVP) which had been the country's governing party for much of the post-war period.
History. The party was founded in Herstal by Jérôme Munier and Gregory Vanden Bruel in October 2021, both former members of the People's Party (PP). Chez Nous also brings together former members of the Reformist Movement and the Destexhe Lists.
Another organization was eventually created by Macron, declared as L'Association pour le renouvellement de la vie politique and registered as a micro-party in January 2016. This was following en-marche.fr being claimed as a domain. L'Association pour le renouvellement de la vie politique was then registered as EMA EN MARCHE in March 2016.
