The First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site is a state-owned property in St. Charles, Missouri, preserving the building that served as Missouri's capitol from 1821 to 1826. It was built in 1832 as the Market House, and underwent alterations in 1886. It is a two-story, vernacular brick building on a rockfaced ashlar foundation.
