Lake Batllava is located in northeastern Kosovo in the municipality of Podujeva. It is 13 km (8.1 mi) from Podujeva and about 30 km (19 mi) from Pristina. The lake extends west to east, since its dam is in the west of the lake and it is fed by the Batllava River. The lake is about 6 km (3.7 mi) long and it has a width up to 700 m (2,300 ft).
