LaGuardia Community College was the earliest and most active participant in the Wikimedia Education Program from 2012-2017, having incorporated Wikipedia editing assignments into more classes by more professors than any other university in that time period. Professors and classes at LaGuardia continue to use Wikipedia editing as a learning tool.

Witnessing / writing-about art objects 'in the flesh', glossing over the history of NYC art in the 20th century, and breezing over the language of art criticism are the central aspects of this course.
