Elgin High School, or EHS, is a public four-year high school located in Elgin, Illinois, an American city 40 mi. (63.5 km) northwest of Chicago. It is part of Elgin Area School District U46 , which also includes Bartlett High School , Larkin High School , South Elgin High School , and Streamwood High School .
Bartlett High School is a 3 story high school with 396,000 square feet on a 22-acre campus including athletic fields and pond. There is an Auditorium that seats approximately 1000 people, an indoor competition size swimming pool and a central student commons/cafeteria area that has the main staircase that connects the three classroom levels.
The school uses the Infinite Campus school management system for tasks such as student attendance and grading, and full online grade access is available online. In 2011, the school was split into theme schools, with four smaller academies operating within the high school, in order to give students a choice in areas they wanted to pursue. [3]
