The Vietnamese–German University is based on the cooperation between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany, especially the State of Hesse. Hoa Sen University [1] (Vietnamese: Đại học Hoa Sen, lit. 'Lotus University') is a private university in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The predecessor of this university was Hoa Sen College. Hoa Sen is a leading university in Vietnam; it is known for quality in education, training, and internationally recognized research for the community.
The university plans to open more degrees related to health sciences in the near future such as Nutrition, Epidemiology... etc. The UHSC have a strong cooperation with the School of Public Health (SPH) of the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH). The SPH started to offer master's programs relating to health sciences since 2007. [2]
