Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) is a school district based in Queen Creek, Arizona, United States. [2] It was formed in 1947 from land once part of the Higley Unified School District (at the time, neither district was unified; Queen Creek High School would not open until 1967).
The Queen Creek school district did not open a high school until 1986, when it became a unified school district; [3] previously, the school district bused high school students to other schools far from town. [4] In 1988, the school graduated its first class of 22 seniors, attending classes in a 12-room school building. [4]
