Abdullahi Bala Lau, popularly known as Sheikh Balalau, is a Nigerian Islamic scholar, cleric, mufassir, and preacher. He is the national Chairman [ 1 ] of the Jama'atu Izalatul Bidi'ah wa Ikamatus Sunnah , [ 2 ] the largest Salafi movement in Nigeria , [ 3 ] since December 2011.
Laufey Lín Bīng Jónsdóttir was born on 23 April 1999 in Reykjavík, Iceland's capital.Her father is Icelandic and her mother is Chinese, hailing from Guangzhou. [3] Her mother is a classical violinist and her grandfather, Lin Yaoji [], was a violin educator at the Central Conservatory of Music in China, which Laufey credits as partly inspiring her love of music.
Lau played guitar in several bands and was a member of the Dutch band Neerlands Hoop Express. In 1979 he founded the band The Scene with Lau as lead singer and guitarist. [1] The band's most well-known songs are "Blauw" and "Iedereen is van de wereld". Lau left The Scene in 2003 and got touring with keyboardist Jan-Peter Bast in Dutch theaters.
