The Thames Path is one of the Mayor of London's strategic walking routes. The Thames Path Cycle Route is a black-signposted route that follows the river between Putney Bridge in the west and Greenwich in the east. It mostly follows the Thames Path, but diverges in various sections, especially where the path follows a footpath-only route.
The path. The Thames Estuary Path was established in 2014, it is part of the King Charles III England Coast Path and runs along the northern (Essex) side of the Thames estuary. It is promoted by Essex County Council and c2c train company. It complements the Saffron Trail from south-east to north-west Essex.

Ancestral Thames. The Ancestral Thames is the geologically ancient precursor to the present day River Thames. Oxfordshire Way. The Oxfordshire Way is a long-distance walk in Oxfordshire, England, with 6 miles in Gloucestershire and very short sections in Buckinghamshire. The path links with the Heart of England Way and the Thames Path . The path runs for 68 miles (109 km) from Bourton-on-the-Water, Gloucestershire, [1] to Henley-on-Thames. [2]
Ordnance Survey maps do not show a right of way on the route of the tunnel. The tunnel is also part of the UK's National Cycle Route 1 linking Inverness and Dover. A National Trail, the Thames Path, uses the tunnel to rejoin the southbound part of the path. A 2016 survey showed that around 4,000 people use the tunnel each day.
