We are proud to support animals in every stage of their journey from rescue to adoption. From building a state-of-the-art behavioral rehab center to activating staff and volunteers during natural disasters to raiding puppy mills and hoarding situations, we continue to advocate for the fair treatment, respect and love all animals deserve. Just like we did for Talia.
Talia’s story starts like so many thousands of others. She was one of more than 90 neglected dogs rescued from a home in eastern Ohio. When she entered the shelter, she was terrified of humans.
After working with the ASPCA rehabilitation team, she learned how to behave on a leash and, most importantly, how to trust people. Talia was relocated to a partner shelter in South Carolina, where she found Joanna B. and her dog Meeko. Now, she’s fully part of the family and living the life she deserved all along.
