The United Center, a beautiful arena that’s home to two of Chicago’s most iconic sports teams – the Bulls and the Blackhawks – also serves up a delightful roster of concerts every year!

Having opened in 1994, the venue has gone on to host more than 40 million spectators and hundreds of memorable events. Past guests have included the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

The current lineup contains even more exciting artists. Catch performances from stars like Megan Thee Stallion, Tim McGraw, Billie Eilish, Janet Jackson, and the Black Keys.

Or, put seeing the Bulls or Blackhawks play live on your bucket list and score some good seats!

If there ever was a city that lacked famous sports venues, it certainly wouldn’t be Chicago! Wrigley Field’s biggest pitch for fame stems from its standing as the second oldest ballpark in the U.S., outlasted only by Fenway Park. So, if you like your shows to take place in the midst of history, Wrigley Field is the perfect spot to do it.

And if you think seeing the Cubs play is the only way to hit your evening out of the park in Chicago, you’d be wrong. Wrigley Field is also hosting acts such as Green Day, which will be accompanied by Rancid, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The Linda Lindas for an unforgettable night of rock.

SoFi Stadium

SoFi Stadium may only have a few years of operation under its belt, but it has nonetheless carved itself out as one of the best concert venues in the United States.

When SoFi first opened, its innovative features generated a lot of hype. First, 75% of the stadium exists underground because it’s in the path of LAX’s flight patterns. The football field sits 100 feet underground, which is the deepest-set NFL field in the U.S. If you’re used to trudging up flights of stairs to find your seat, you’ll love the fact that most people who see a show at SoFi start at the ground level and proceed down!

SoFi also has an open-air that most other stadiums don’t. With openings at the sides, it provides an indoor-outdoor feeling.

Finally, its large, ring-like screen hangs over the field and plays footage on both the inner and outdoor sides, allowing everyone, no matter where you’re sitting, to see what it plays.

And if you were hoping to catch Green Day and The Smashing Pumpkins somewhere in California, you’re in luck! They’re coming to SoFi Stadium on September 14th!

HEB Center at Cedar Park

When you think of a high-quality ice skating arena, you probably don’t think of Texas. Yet, in Cedar Park, the HEB Center at Cedar Park serves as a great location for ice-related events. It’s the home of the American Hockey League Team the Texas Stars, and it also is hosting Disney on Ice performances!

This is a captivating ice-skating spectacle that brings your favorite films to life right before your eyes. With stunning choreography, beautiful sets and costumes, and sing-a-long tunes, it’s the perfect outing for families, kids, or those young at heart!

Performing at and visiting Madison Square Garden is the dream of millions of Americans. Its storied history boasts many famous performances, ranging from Elton John and Lady Gaga to Michael Jackson.

On September 25th, Meghan Trainor will leave her mark on the Madison Square Garden stage on her Timeless Tour! Her latest album is scheduled to be released in summer 2024, and this is the opportunity to hear her new songs (and classic ones as well!).

MetLife Stadium

As the home of both the New York Jets and the Giants, MetLife Stadium is one of the best places in New Jersey to see sporting events. It has hosted a Super Bowl, Wrestlemania, and a whole host of favorite musicians, including Beyonce and Bruce Springsteen.

If you live on the East Coast (or plan on visiting it) and find yourself tapping your toes to classic country songs, you won’t want to miss George Strait when he takes the MetLife stage on June 8th! Considered to be the “King of Country Music”, George Strait is a legend who has been in the business for nearly half a century. He even holds the record for the most number-one songs by an artist out of every genre of music!

This is just a small list of the best concert venues in the US. Check out Event Tickets Center for an entire roster of the greatest artists, musicians, and live performances coming to a city near you. Many of these shows will likely sell out, so don’t wait too long! Not only do concert tickets make great gifts, but going to a show is a great activity to do with kids!
